SlumDog & White Tiger

Came across two piece of artwork today.Slumdog & WhiteTiger.

Well actually Slumdog is movie transformation of the refreshing literary excellence-Q&A written by Vikas Swarup. I felt it's masterpiece but never thought that it will be transformed into such a beautiful movie which will win Golden Globe,Bafta & 10 Oscar Nominations.Well creativity starts where our logic ends. So here came a story from Mr. Swarup who must have watched 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' like crores of Indians, but his thought was not limited to Question or staggering Prize amount. It started weaving a story of contrasts. Few readers like us came across it & admired it, but that was the end for us. But then one creative reader understood potential of the story & thought of telling it through a medium of which he was master. And the way it was weaved in words by Mr. Swarup , Danny Boyle weaved it on multicoloured canvas of India. No poor & Hungry Indian exaggeration but the bare truth about force of life.
'You don't need to be intelligent, You just need to know the answers'.
Many people criticized word 'Slumdog' but they ignored 'Millionaire' part of it. Movie doesn't exaggerate poverty, but only tries to convey that even people considered worthless by society can sail across all the extreme hardship & reach their dreams(Money or Love). Best part is Slumdog came across those answer not through some heroic efforts but though his struggle for survival.
Then a pervert artwork Booker prize winner 'White Tiger', which i thought of reading as i saw many people buying it in Bookshop.Thank God i saved my money by reading 'The Hindu' review. And i would like to put same words
"For a novel that is supposed to be a portrait of the ‘real’ India, The White Tiger comes across as curiously inauthentic. Is it a novel from one more outsider, presenting cynical anthropologies to an audience that is not Indian?
I would just like to say to Mr. Adiga that India may not be monetarily as rich your "Dollar Dream Country " but culturally it's more rich then any other country & nowhere in india women of families feed a man just because he have got money in his pocket. A man who could not respect his 'MotherLand' what respect he will bring to literature.I have even lost my faith in judgement of 'Booker's Prize'.Even Dostoevsky criticized his countries corruption & society but in right context, his imagination was not as inauthentis & pervert as of Mr. Adiga.
